Jeannine Pugh Cain, MSHI, RHIA, CPHI
Jeannine is a business analyst, real world data at Ciox Health and is a part-time evaluator for Western Governors University (WGU). Her professional experience encompasses billing, medical records, data analysis, product development, and more. With a B.S. in HIM and RHIA certification and a M.S. in Health Informatics and CPHI certification, she centers goals around advocating for the improved design of systems for better data quality and user experience. She believes patient rights should be reflected in the capture, application, and use of health information with the assurance that the right context and proper governance is applied consistently and transparently across healthcare. She passionately advocates for the HIM profession and the value an HIM Professionals skillset brings to a changing healthcare environment. As an active volunteer, Jeannine has participated on the Data Analytics Practice Council, Advocacy and Policy Practice Council, Envisioning Collaborative, Consumer Engagement Task Force, Government Task Force, and House Leadership team for AHIMA and as president, director, and BoD member of AAHIM.
